Music is very important in The Sims 3, so it has to be very good. That’s why Electronic Arts hired composer Steve Jablonsky to write some nice music for the game. He was also the composer behind Command and Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath, another game by Electronic Arts.

Fans of The Sims have something extra to look forward to. Electronic Arts has revealed some info of The Sims 3 Collector’s Editions. The pack will contain the game itself, an exclusive in-game sportscar, a USB stick in the shape of the green The Sims diamond with a green cover, a hints & tips guide and a couple of cool The Sims 3 stickers. The special edition of the game will cost €55 and will come out on the same day like The Sims 3.

And once again WorthPlaying has some new footage of The Sims 3. We see a couple in army style clothes chilling out in some camouflage livingroom and an old Sim is enjoying some reading in her livingroom.

At the Leipzig Games Convention Electronic Arts has announced that The Sims 3 will be launching on February 20th 2009. The game will be sold in stores and will be sold as a download as well. Right now the game has only been announced for PC.

During E3, Electronic Arts has released new footage of The Sims 3. EA released the first trailer of the game and also published some new screenshots showing the nice and colorful graphics of the game.

Electronic Arts has shown some new The Sims 3 footage during its E3 press conference. EA also revealed that The Sims 3 will come out early 2009. The above video shows some of the footage shown during the presentation.

EA has released four new screenshots of The Sims 3 that show us what cool pools you can build next to your house and the cool witch costumes your Sim characters can put on!

As announced EA has released the first screenshots and info on The Sims 3. As we already knew, The Sims 3 will allow you to go into the city and explore many other public places. You’ll be able to visit neighbours, hang around with friends, visit the local park or have a nice chat with people you know while going for a stroll. Your Sim’s personality will be a lot more detailed than in previous The Sims games. Knowing how your Sim will react on a new situation will be important to keep him/her happy. Other Sims will have a more specific personality as well. You will also be able to build pre-built houses in your street to decorate the neighborhood.

Yesterday we reported that the official The Sims 3 site went live, today we have some more info on this upcoming topgame thanks to Games for Windows magazine. This time you won’t be just exploring your own house, you’ll also be able to visit the local park and town and participate to cool events in your neighborhood. Your Sim won’t have to go to the bathroom all the time, there will be more time for fun stuff. The character creator will see a complete make-over.
