Today Electronic Arts also released some new screenshots of The Sims 3 that are worth a check. The trailer shows us how detailed the personalities in The Sims 3 are.

IGN recently had an interview with Ben Bell, the executive producer of The Sims 3. Bell explains what’s new in The Sims 3 and IGN threw in some new footage of The Sims 3 in this video interview. The developers of the game even read newspaper excerpts to analyse how people describe their own personality to make The Sims 3 even more realistic than previous Sims games.

French gamesite Jeux Video got their hands on two colorful screenshots of The Sims 3. Looks like Sims characters are having a lot of fun together on these two new screenshots. Who would have ever thought that we’d be licking lollypops in The Sims?
Music is very important in The Sims 3, so it has to be very good. That’s why Electronic Arts hired composer Steve Jablonsky to write some nice music for the game. He was also the composer behind Command and Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath, another game by Electronic Arts.
Fans of The Sims have something extra to look forward to. Electronic Arts has revealed some info of The Sims 3 Collector’s Editions. The pack will contain the game itself, an exclusive in-game sportscar, a USB stick in the shape of the green The Sims diamond with a green cover, a hints & tips guide and a couple of cool The Sims 3 stickers. The special edition of the game will cost €55 and will come out on the same day like The Sims 3.
At the Leipzig Games Convention Electronic Arts has announced that The Sims 3 will be launching on February 20th 2009. The game will be sold in stores and will be sold as a download as well. Right now the game has only been announced for PC.
